We're using our editorial page today to do something we don't always do.
Remember that controversial $2.7 billion transportation package passed by the state Legislature last November. I lot of people ripped it - and Gov. Tom Corbett, who was pushing for it - as a hidden tax hike, boosting the cost of gas at the pump.
Guess what?
It was the right thing to do.
Case in point? The measure will fund the long-delayed reconstruction of Route 322, which over the years has richly earned the grisly moniker "Killer Conchester."
