'Process' this: Bridges was a Sixers for about a half hour

It turns out The Process even trumps Family Ties.

Last night the Sixers used the 10th pick in the NBA Draft to select Villanova star Mikal Bridges.

It's a great story for a lot of reasons.

Bridges is a local kid, grew up in Malvern and led the Wildcats to a national title.

It appeared he was going to be sticking close to home. It gets even better. His mom actually works for the Sixers organization, in HR.

But the good feelings didn't last long.

About a half-hour later, after Bridges did his initial media interviews, the team swapped him to Phoenix for Zhaire Smith and an unprotected 2021 first-round draft pick.

Yep, sure sounds like The Process is still around to me.

Here's Jack McCaffery's take.
