See that kid on the right leaping for joy after the Ridley baseball team held on for a 5-4 win over Penncrest this week?
His name is Ryan Schreiber. In addition to being aces on the diamond, he's not bad in the classroom either.
Schreiber no doubt was leaping for joy not only because the Raiders got the win, but he was in a hurry to get to The Community's Foundation awards gala at the Spring Haven Club.
Schreiber was one of the scholarship winners, kids who snagged more than $100,000 in scholarship funds as they continue their education with a goal of working in the health care field.
I know. I was there.
Schreiber was one of 15 winners.
No wonder he was leaping for joy!
