The Homecoming: Bryce goes back to D.C.

What do you think the over-under will be on the percentage of Phillies fans packing Nationals Park in D.C. tonight for the return of Bryce Harper?

I'm setting the line at 40 percent, and I'm taking the over.

With Harper leading the charge, hitting two moon shots as the Phils swept the Braves on opening weekend, Phillies Phever is breaking out all over the Delaware Valley.

And that can only mean on thing:

Road Trip.

Phillies fans will make the trek down I-95 today for what no doubt will be a less than hospitable homecoming for Harper, who spurned the Nats in signing that massive, $330 million mega-deal with the Phillies.

Try for a minute to put ourselves in the position of Nats' fans. Can you imagine what kind of reaction Harper would receive if he were coming to Philly after signing with someone else.

That no doubt will be part of the atmosphere tonight in the nation's capital.

Leather-lunged Phillies fans will be on hand in a valiant attempt to drown out those boos for our new favorite hero.

Almost enough to take the bloom of all those cherry blossoms.
