I Don’t Get It: Want another sign that the economy is in a shambles. Many shore merchants were in a panic because they were unable to get as many foreign workers into the country to fill their essential seasonal jobs. Not to worry. They are being snapped up by American workers looking to simply make ends meet.

Today’s Upper: It was a big day for education in Delaware County and the state yesterday, as Gov. Ed Rendell came to Upper Darby High School to sign his new education budget, which provides a huge new funding stream for schools.
