Philly fans have a reputation as a knowledgeable, passionate bunch.
It is one we take great honor in, despite the many national prognosticators who never miss an opportunity to paint us as a bunch of drunken, surly louts.
Incidents like this one won’t help.
It is everything wrong with Philly fans. The sad thing is that all of us likely have encountered something similar.
Unfortunately, it’s the image that much of the nation will continue to conjure up every time they think of Philadelphia.
It’s time we police ourselves.
We can take back the stadiums. We can make them safe again for families.
Enough is enough.
