Call me a Phanatic: A look at the ups and downs of being a Philadelphia sports fan.Not exactly sure what Charlie was thinking when he let Blanton bat in the top of the 7th with the bases loaded and two out. No doubt he wanted to send a message to his slumping hitters. But the fact is Blanton has shown a remarkable tendency to be about done after 75 pitches. His next one was blasted for a home run.

I Don’t Get It: Amazing how so many politicians are now all in favor of the latest gambling era down at Harrah’s. I could have swore some of these same pols had been against the initial idea of expanded gambling in Pa.
