One more view on 'The View'

Your eyes did not deceive you.

That was the commander-in-chief who decided to take a little time and enjoy “The View” yesterday.

Barack Obama became the first president to appear on a daytime talk fest.

It is the society we live in today. You take the message to where the people are.

That’s why we are awash in Twitter, Facebook and blogs. That’s why media of all kinds – print included – are expanding their offerings and moving into new platforms to deliver the product.

Still, a lot of people believe Obama’s appearance on “The View” was below the dignity of the office.

Among those taking issue with the move was the governor of Pennsylvania.

You know, Ed Rendell. The guy who spends Sundays in the fall as the post-game analyst on Eagles games.

How’s that view, governor?
