The overworked, stressed-out, frazzled American worker has a new hero.
His name is Steven Slater.
Slater is – or rather was – a flight attendant on JetBlue airlines.
On Monday he reached his breaking point during a confrontation with an unruly passenger.
But Slater decided he would no long bite his tongue. Instead, he took a slightly different path.
It is the path every one of us probably thinks about every day.
A few years ago it was the popular theme of country-western song.
Take this job and shove it.

Unfortunately, his antics earned him an arrest and a couple hours cooling his “jets” in a jail cell.
In the process he has become an Internet sensation and something of a pop hero.
