It was the same sad story again this weekend in the city of Chester.
A body had been discovered bound, gagged and wrapped in plastic, then dumped in a vacant lot not far from PPL Park on Thursday.
On Friday the death of 19-year-old Toby Allen Gale Jr. was ruled a homicide.
On Saturday the county District Attorney’s Office charged the teen’s two former roommates in the killing.
What is not yet clear is why?
I’d like to devote this week’s ‘Live From the Newsroom’ to a discussion of what is going on in Chester – and what can be done to stop it.
But so far we have not gotten any response from city officials to our invitation to come on and discuss the situation.
The offer stands. I can’t say I have the answers to what is going on in Chester. But I’d like to be part of the solution.
