We're talking billboards

We’ll be tackling another big issue tonight on our live-stream Internet broadcast, “Live From the Newsroom.”

Towns sprinkled across the county are battling proposals to erect massive billboards in their burgs.

We’ll be joined by John Butler, a former Marple commissioner and member of a resident advocacy group opposing the billboards, and Mary Tracy, president of Scenic America and a co-founder of SCRUB, which also opposes the monster signs.

We have an invitation out to Thaddeus Bartkowski III, who is trying to erect billboards in Marple, Springfield, Morton and Haverford, but we have not yet heard back from him.

But what I really want is to hear from you. Do you have a question you’d like asked of the towns that are fighting these plans? E-mail me at editor@delcotimes.com

Also you can tune in tonight at delcotimes.com and join our live chat, and put questions to our guests.

It will be all about billboards tonight at 7. Join us!
