This was a very big weekend for the city of Chester.
No, not because of some crime report littering the pages of the Daily Times. The curfew instituted on those 17 and under on June 1 seems to be working fine, thank you.
I refer instead to the city once again proving it can be host to a huge athletic event at PPL Park. Already the home of the Union of Major League Soccer, this weekend the stadium on the city’s waterfront hosted the rugby world.
The USA Sevens Collegiate Rugby Championships came to Chester, and they proved to be a big hit for the city.
