It will be another landmark occasion for the city of Chester this weekend.
For a few days, the city will become the center of the rugby world.
That’s because PPL Park on the city’s waterfront this weekend will play host to the USA Sevens Rubgy Championship.
Matches pitting 16 men’s teams and eight women’s collegiate teams will take place all day Saturday and Sunday. Among the schools competing will be Temple, including Havertown native Gareth Jones.
This is another important showcase for the city, with people from all across the country arriving here in Delaware County, along with a national TV audience.
