Not much going on yesterday in Philly sports.
Only a possible new owner for the Sixers, a possible new top-of-the-line goalie for the Flyers, and the same-old, same-old for the Phillies.
Anyone remember the Eagles?
A couple of things to point out here. Maybe everything you need to know about the way Ed Snider and Comcast felt about the Sixers is that on a day when the city was buzzing about the possible sale fo the team, late Tuesday night they announced they had traded for the rights to negotiate with Coyotes’ free agent goalie Ilya Bryzgalov.
The Sixers have always been a stepchild to Snider. The Flyers always have been and likely always will be his first love.
Here’s a tip for the new owners: Bring back Delco native Pat Croce. The team hasn’t had the same buzz since he left. They got a promising boost last year with the addition of Doug Collins and a new attitude. Croce would be the perfect compliment.
