We're talking school budgets on 'Live From the Newsroom'

Last week we devoted a lot of time and space to a crucial issue in Delaware County. That would be school budgets, and the tough choices school boards, educators and taxpayers are facing as they put together their budgets.

Very common are reductions in staff, slashing arts, sports and extracurricular activities, and tax hikes.

Tonight we’ll focus once again on this issue on a very special edition of our live-stream Internet broadcast, “Live From the Newsroom.”

We’ll be joined by Haverford School Board member Larry Feinberg, and longtime Penn-Delco educator and president of the Southeastern Region of the Pennsylvania State Education Association Linda Cook.

We’ve had a week to ask questions of officials about school budgets. Now it’s your turn.

What would you like to know about the budget for your school district?

Do you have an issue you’d like Feinberg and Cook to address? Send me an e-mail, or join our live chat during the show tonight.

We will be on at a special time, 6 p.m. Join us for a crucial discussion on the state of education in Delco.
