I Don’t Get It: Now that the holiday is over, school districts all over the county and state will be taking a new look at those ugly numbers and trying to figure out how exactly they are going to make ends meet.

Today’s Upper: Big-time kudos to County Councilman Mario Civera for his role in seeking a deal with the county SPCA to extend their deadline for getting out of the animal control biz for six months. That will give the county time to build a shelter of their own. Bravo!
