Debt ceiling deal, or end to NFL lockout?

A random thought on a very hot summer day:

What do you think most Delaware County people would rather see:

A deal between Republicans in Congress and President Obama on the debt limit?

Or the end of the NFL Lockout?

I think I know where the good folks up in Bethlehem would stand on this issue.

They along with towns just like them that host NFL training camps have been on pins and needles as the two sides keep talking, and time draws near for the usual start of training camp.

The news today is that both sides are looking at the possibility of having a deal on the table by the time the NFL owners meet on July 21.
That would allow the lockout to end and teams to hold training camp.

But where they would hold them remains up in the air. Many teams, apparently including the Eagles, are not sure they would have the time to figure out all the logistics of getting to their normal camp site at Lehigh University, and might just opt to hold camp at their Nova Care practice facility in South Philly.

Stay tuned.
