Who says nice guys finish last?
Or guys who do the right thing, for that matter?
This time yesterday, Gary Krobath wasn’t sure about a lot of things, including where he was going to live.
It was Krobath’s house in Trainer that was the scene of a six-hour standoff Monday that ended in the death of a man who killed three people in Montgomery County and wounded three others in a shooting rampage.
It turns out the county is not about to turn its back on Krobath, who met Mark Geisenheyner at an old landscaping job.
Krobath was beginning about the price he was paying for doing the right thing, lulling Geisenheyner to sleep and the calling 911. Now Krobath’s life will be made whole again.
Gil Spencer has the story. It’s a good one.
