Boom times for table games

Anyone still wondering if table games have eclipsed slots when it comes to the action at Pa. casinos?

Check out these new numbers released by the state Gaming Control Board.

Revenue from table games in Pa. set a new record in July, when gamblers plunked down more than $56 million at the state’s 10 operating casinos.

It was a boom time at Harrah’s in Chester as well. The Delco gambling mecca comes in fourth, with more than $6.8 million dollars wagered. That also translates into $129,898 in tax relief.
