This kind of violence is not kid stuff

Today’s editorial laments the increasing incidents of violence involving guns and young people.

We spoke too soon.

This morning authorities in Upper Chichester are investigating a shooting that left an innocent bystander wounded.

The girl is 15.

Reports are that four shots were fired into a crowd that had gathered in the 100 block of Washington Street.

The victim was treated and released from Crozer-Chester Medical Center.

Eventually, someone is not going to be that lucky.

Put down the guns before it’s too late.

The life you save may be your own.

Sorry Phil, all this does it alert people to the fact that they need a gun to protect themselves. Criminals will always have them, make them, or steal them.
Telling them to put them down is to late. We need more law abiding people to carry a gun, and when these criminals start shooting, they need to be shot back at. Have you watched any videos of these shootings? Rarely does the criminal not run when confronted with a law abiding person defending themselves on equal ground. These thugs/gangbangers are weak and lowly cowards!!!

I carry a gun because a cop is to damn heavy! That and that constitutional right I have equal some powerful stuff.

Let me add that I think school based gun safety training where kids get to shoot at a local range and see the ballistic information and impact of their actions before ever being a teen would not hurt! Get the moms to sign off on that, Phil.
