Opportunity missed: No Obama visit to Chester

2:00: Anyone hoping for an appearance by President Obamb in the hotly contested Chester mayoral race is out of luck.

The president flew into Philly, took a motorcade to Yeadon to address issues surrounding Head Start, then got back in his limo and headed back to D.C.

No side trip to Chester.

That's a shame because it would have been priceless to have the president standing next to one of those controversial billboards erected by the Butler team declaring "the Obama Administration has selected Chester and on No. 8th so should you."

Dems howled over the appearance of a non-existent endorsement. Backer of Butler said they were merely reiternating the administration's support for the city.
