Stick a fork in these Birds - and their coach

Yes, he actually said it.

After his Eagles had been embarrassed once again on national TV in a 31-14 loss in Seattle, Andy Reid boldly stepped up to the podium and announced he "needed to do a better job of putting players in position to make plays."

I'm not making this up. Actually, I'm not sure you can make this up.

Everything you need to know about this game - and Andy Reid - you learned on the Eagles first play of the game.

Don't give the ball to the league's leading rusher, LeSean McCoy. No, Andy knows better than all the rest of us.

He had Vince Young once again drop back. Young got rushed, scrambled to his right, then heaved a ball downfield that got picked off by a diving Seahawk. It was all downhill from there.

Reid simply is not ever going to change.

That's why Jeff Lurie needs to make the change for him.

Sooner rather than later. It's time for Reid to go.

Indeed, Mr. Heron... Sooner rather than later. But if I was a betting man there is not question that I'd put my money on 'later' as at the end of the season... No later than that, please-please-please... If Jeff Laurie is not embarrassed by this team he is probably the most delusional billionaire that ever walked this planet!
