Break up the Sixers!

Break up the Sixers!

Maybe they should have a lockout every year.

The Sixers rolled to their sixth straight win last night, blowing out Chester native Tyreke Evans and the Sacramento Kings.

Hopefully more people will read the stories than bothered to show up for the game last night. The contest with the Kings drew better than the night before, but it still was not great.

Last night's attendance checked in at a still paltry 10,255. This needs to change. The Sixers are on a serious roll, leading the Atlantic Division and making it pretty clear that they are going to be a force in this abbreviated NBA post-lockout season.

Speaking of the lockout, in a weird way, this might actually work in the Sixers favor. They're a young team. Plus, they have most of the same players back from last year. Young, fresh legs will be crucial. They play their third game on three consecutive nights tonight in New York vs. the Knicks.

Speaking of being on a roll, you can kiss Ryan Madson goodbye. He's signing a one-year deal with the Reds.

To top eveythign off, the Flyers kids also starred last night in their big win over the Hurricanes in Carolina.

We could be entering a new era of young superstars in Philly.

Now if only the Eagles had won one more game, right. Nah, let's leave that fine whine for another day.

Go Sixers!
