Repeat after me: DO NOT PANIC.
There is no need to storm the supermarket and engage in bare knuckle brawling over that last quart of milk or loaf of bread.
Yes, we are expecting to get some snow this afternoon. Here's the forecast.
This no doubt will send the TV folks into hyperventilating overdrive this morning.
Here are the facts. Sometime this afternoon, around 2 p.m., some kind of combination of wet snow and rain is expected to arrive in the Delaware Valley.
This sounds like a dusting. The ground might be coated, but the streets are only going to be wet.
At least that’s the forecast.
Don’t blame me if we get more.
But I wouldn’t be the house on it.
For those who have been longing for a real winter, this doesn’t look like it. This storm likely will not even be cause for plowing, much to the chagrin of the folks whose winter livelihood depends on snowy weather.
At most it sounds like we might have to brush off the windshield before a wet ride home tonight.
That’s my kind of snow storm.
