Meet us in Rose Tree Park on Sunday for the Italian-American Heritage Festival

Don’t forget to mark your calendars for one of the best events of the summer in Delaware County.

Join us in Rose Tree Park on Sunday for the 3rd annual Italian-American Heritage Festival.

It takes place noon-6 p.m. Sunday - and it’s free!

You don’t have to be Italian to take part in the fun, you just have to enjoy great food, music, culture, authors, actors and entertainers.

You might recognize some of the folks there. My friend from Lorraine Ranalli who pops up on our ‘Live From the Newsroom Show’ will be staging one of her classic “Gravy Wars” events. Lorraine of course is the author of “Gravy Wars” and an expert on all things Italian. She won’t be hard to find. Her tent will be the one with the 12-foot giant spoons.

Another of her Cucina Chatter pals, chef and actress Natalie Stone, the force behind Bella’s Biscotti, also will be on hand.

And if that’s not enough, I’ll be there along with some of my Daily Times and DelcoTimes.com compadres. We’ll be doing a live-stream from the festival. Stop by if you’ve ever wanted to meet the editor.

See you Sunday in Rose Tree Park.
