It was one of the oddest quirks in this very quirky Phillies season. It appeared along with the name of one of the Phils' left-handed aces, Cliff Lee.

Lee broke into the win column yesterday as the Phillies broke out the lumber late to turn a close game into a blowout by bludgeoning the Mets in New York, 9-2
The fact that Lee did not get his first win of the season until July 4 pretty much tells you everything you need to know about how bad things have been for the Phils.
