We had a great sit-down with Chester Mayor John Linder on our live-stream show, ‘Live From the Newsroom,’ last night.
I wanted to talk politics, and Linder didn’t back down from a single question.

Linder is caught in a bit of a power struggle with some members of City Council. No matter that they are all Democrats. They’re not getting along, in particular when it comes to some personnel decisions.
Bottom line: Linder made it clear with this statement:
“There is only one mayor in Chester, and I’m sitting in that seat.”
Keep an eye on this one. It’s not likely going to go away anytime soon.
