1st tree down courtesy of Sandy in Drexel Hill

8:40 a.m.: First tree to be casualty of Sandy might be in 400 block of School Lane in Drexel Hill section of Upper Darby. Slammed into house and broke the gas meter. Reports that child suffered minor scrapes when tree branches slammed into nursery in the home. Taken to hospital as a precaution.
