Direct Hit looms for Atlantic City

7:05: Here's two words I didn't need to hear: Direct Hit. That's what they're now saying as Hurricane Sandy will slam into the New Jersey shore near Atlantic City sometime in the overnight hours into early Tuesday. That's the thing about conditions right now. Keep in mind that Sandy is still 300 miles away. Here in Delaware County we are going to get high winds and rain - lots of it.

In addition to flooding, we'll be dealing with trees coming down, which means downed wires and power outags. We could be seeing winds over 50 mph later today and as much as 60-80 mph later tonight.

Tonight into tomorrow looks like the worst of it. Tuesday things will start to improve.
