One debate too many

They should have quit while they were ahead.

The third and final presidential debate last night between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney was not exactly riveting. It was supposed to focus on foreign policy. It did, even if both men seemed more interested in returning to the overriding issue in this race, the economy.

I didn’t really get a feel for one man taking a clear victory, which I suppose works in the president’s favor.

There was no clear buzzword to come from this debate, such as Big Bird in the first, or “binders full of women,” which came out of the second.

We’re left only with Obama talking about horses and bayonets in describing why the military is necessarily smaller. That seems like the phrase that took off on Twitter.

Maybe two debates, as well as the entertaining showdown between Vice President Joe Biden and GOP hopeful Congressman Paul Ryan, were enough.

I noticed there was much less buzz last night on Twitter.

I also think there are very few people out there who remain undecided.

So who do you think won? And why?

And are you ready to vote already?
