Our endorsements are in; now we want to hear yours

It’s election season, which means it’s time to make our editorial endorsements.
Today we’re offering our choices for the state House and Senate. You can read them here.

Tomorrow we’ll let you know our choice in the 7th District Congressional battle between incumbent Republican Pat Meehan and Democratic challenger George Badey.
But what I would really like is for readers to offer their own endorsements. Do you disagree with any of our choices? Let us know.
Post a comment on this blog item and we’ll highlight it. The idea here is to engage and become part of the political discussion. We have our opinion, and we know you do too. Now we are offering you a place to have it posted as part of the community discussion.
We have always held to the tradition of offering our endorsements. We think it's an important part of our role as a community newspaper.  But we also realize that we are no longer alone in this information process. Today, in a world drenched in the snark of social media and when it seems like everyone has a blog, we realize we are just one of many voices.
We want to hear yours. Don’t be bashful, although gauging by the tone of many comments on our website I don’t think that’s going to happen.
Please try to be civil. We’re not really interested in name-calling. What we would like is some meaningful discussion of the issues and why your candidate is the best choice.
These are critical jobs that will tackle some immense problems in this state. They should not be made in a vacuum.
Join the conversation. Post your endorsement now!

Have to say you missed it on Rep. Tom Killion. He has been a tireless advocate of his constituents and is gaining in seniority. In the former, he hasn't failed. Without another term his District is going to once again lose clout in the State House of Representatives. I hope the readers go against your pick.
