Here's something to think about as we await the start of the Nick Foles era on Sunday
Anyone care to guess exactly how many NFL teams have made the playoffs after starting they season 3-7?
Uh, that would be zero. Nada. Zilch.
Both the Eagles and Redskins are a miserable 3-6. One of them is likely going to be eliminated on Sunday. Nd even then it's a long shot. A couple of teams have reached the playoffs after such an inauspicious start, but I wouldn't put the house on it.
In other words, Eagles fans better hope Nick Foles is the real deal.
Or the season could be over before Thanksgiving.
