The Wells Fargo Center is a pretty depressing place these days.
The Flyers aren’t playing because of the NHL Lockout, with no end to that work stoppage in sight.
And you could make the argument the Sixers aren’t much better. Last night they got booed off the floor after getting hammered by the Pistons on their home court.
Exactly how many wins did the Pistons have before arriving in Philly? Uh, that would be zero.
Chris Vito has all the details here.
Don’t look for things to improve until Andrew Bynum gets on the floor - or maybe I should phrase that if Andrew Bynum gets on the floor. Right now the team continues to hope the star center they acquired while shedding Elton Brand and Andre Iguodala in the off-season will be back around Jan. 10.
For now, this team just is not very good.
Speaking of which, Nick Foles better be good on Sunday in Washington. If he’s not, it’s going to be a long, cold winter.
