One more day!

One more day. I'm Phil Heron, and I approved this message.

The polls will open just about 24 hours from now. Mitt Romney was in Bucks County yesterday; Bill Clinton will be at the Palestra tonight.

It's down to the final hours. I'll be glad when the onslaught of political ads is over, although I don't think the election is going to do much in terms of breaking the gridlock in Washington.

That will be especially true if President Barack Obama wins another term. Republican have made it clear they will block him at every turn.

This is shaping up as one of the closest elections in memory, very possibly mimicking the 2000 battle between George W. Bush and Al Gore that eventually wound up in the hands of the U.S. Supreme Court.

If that's the case, here's my question. Do you think we will know tomorrow night who the next president is going to be. I say if we don't know by midnight, we likely will not know until sometime during the day on Wednesday, if then.

As usual, we here are DelcoTimes.com are gearing up for Election Day. Here's what you can expect from us online in terms of live election coverge all day Tuesday.

Please take part in the process. First, make sure you vote. Then join us at DelcoTimes.com to talk about the election.

In addition, we’ll have reporters checking on voter turnout and filing live updates all day. You can follow us on Twitter with the hashtag #delcovote.

On Tuesday night, Gil and I will once again be offering a special edition of “Live From the Newsroom,” as we visit both the Democratic and Republican campaign headquarters. We’ll also be offering live results as they come in, along with interviews with key candidates and party leaders.

Here’s a few other highlights of our Election Day coverage on DelcoTimes.com:

■ A four-hour live chat, starting at 12:30 p.m., with a series of national experts, such as journalist Howard Kurtz and conservative author Ann Coulter.

■ An Election Tumblr with voters from across the country responding to a single question.

■ An Interactive Results map.
