They're not asking for ID in Upper Providence

9:05 a.m.: We have our first reader checkin in. A voter from Upper Providence reports that he just cast his ballot at the Municipal building on Providence Road. "I was not asked for ID. That troubles me, since I am fully in support of the Voter ID law. Although I don’t think it is an issue in Upper Providence, I would like to see the poll workers ask for ID as provided by the law."

That's already different than what I encountered. I was told poll workers were getting guidance from county and state election officials to ask everyone for ID. Let me know how you fare. Join the conversation!

needing to provide an ID is NOT the law. At least not yet.
