2 names we'd add to Jeff Lurie's marathon search

Will Jeff Lurie have any love for Lovie Smith?
The Eagles’ owner’s search for a new head coach is turning into a marathon. It took Andy Reid three days to find a new job after he was shown the door by Lurie. It might take the Eagles’ boss three weeks to find his new man.

He’s already been turned down by to college hotshots - Penn State miracle man BIll O’Brien and Oregon offensive wizard Chip Kelly.
He’s interviewed Broncos’ offensive coordinator Mike McCoy.

Now fired Bears head coach Lovie Smith is on tap today.

But there are two names that oddly enough are apparently not on the Eagles radar.
Both of them have won a Super Bowl.
ESPN analyst and former Tampa Bay Bucs boss Jon Gruden has been making it known that he would like a shot at turning around the Eagles, but he has not been contacted by the team.
And yesterday longtime Steelers coach - and former Eagles player - Bill Cowher indicated he thinks that he will return to coaching at some point in the future.
Uh, Jeffrey, this might be a good time to listen to your fans. Pick up the phone. Interview both Gruden and Cowher. If you don’t believe either of them is the right guy, don’t hire them. But if you don’t talk to them, you will forever be second-guessed for not doing so.
Since buying the team, you’ve made it a point to talk about the franchise as the NFL’s “gold standard” and your desire to win “multiple” Super Bowls. At this point we’d settle for one.
And we certainly wouldn’t turn our backs on potential coaches who both wear a Super Bowl ring on their fingers.
