'Live From the Newsroom' tackles guns again

The gun debate is not going away. And neither are we.

'Live From the Newsroom' will be back on the great gun debate tonight. We'll offer a preview of a forum being held tomorrow night in Media on "Guns in America After Sandy Hook."

The forum, set for 7 p.m. at the Media Borough Community Center, will focus on gun rights and gun control initiatives.

Tonight we will offer a preview with one of the panelists, Chester Mayor John Linder. The mayor will join us on 'Live From the Newsroom' for a debate on what he - and others involved in the Thursday night forum - would like to see enacted.

Offering another view will be Delco resident and longtime NRA member Dan McMonigle, who promises to have some ideas for the mayor on how to battle the gun violence that continues to plague the city.

Columnist Gil Spencer also will be on hand to offer his views, which usually fall squarely on the side of protecting the Second Amendment.

I want to know what you think. If you have a question for either Mayor Linder or Dan McMonigle, email it to me at editor@delcotimes.com and I'll ask the panel.

Then tune in tonight at 7 at DelcoTimes.com as 'LIve From the Newsroom' tackles the issue of guns. Take part in our live chat as part of the show.

If you're interest in the Thursday forum, here are the details:
