When I was a kid, it wasn't unusual for guys to settle their differences by agreeing to meet after school.
Those showdowns often occurred at my parents' soda shop, which was just a block away from the high school. Were we bullies?
I've been thinking a lot about this bullying issue that we've been focusing on so much here in Delaware County in recent weeks. Is it just a matter of semantics? Or are the things that kids are doing today in fact different that what we did years ago. I refer to it as "guys being guys."
One thing that I know. There is at least one good thing to come out of all this talk about bullying. His name is Corey Crews-Williams. I wrote about him in today's print colum.
