Brace yourself, York. Mike Chitwood is coming.
The bombastic top cop in Upper Darby is doing a road show this morning. He'll be holding an 11 a.m. press conference in York to update the search for missing 7-month-old Hamza Ali, who was taken from an Upper Darby home by his mother's boyfriend. Ummad Rushdi is in Delaware County Prison on kidnapping charges, but authorities have been unable to locate the body of little Hamza.
Police believe Rushdi likely killed the tot in the Upper Darby home, then buried the body somewhere between here and York. The search has been focused on areas along Route 30 outside Lancaster and York. You can get the latest on the investigation here.
We will have live coverage of the Chitwood press conference at 11.
York, you've been warned.
