As folks from all across Delaware County prepare to retrace their steps 50 years after the famous March on Washington, the Daily Times will be with them - and you - every step of the way.
Reporter Kathleen Carey will ride along with groups from Delaware County who will be taking the bus trip commemorating the march for freedom, highlighted by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s famous 'I Have a Dream' speech.
The Media Area NAACP, headed by President Joan Duvall-Flynn, of Concord, is leading the bus ride.
In addition, we learned that former Chester pastor the Rev. LeRoy H. Carter is planning a prayer service next Wednesday at the foot of the Lincoln Memorial. You can read that story here.
