The honors continue to roll in for Ed Williams.
He's the Springfield man credited with saving the lives of an older couple and their grandson when he banged on their front door in the early-morning hours of June 12 to alert them that their home was going up in flames.
Last night Williams was officially lauded by the Springfield commissioners. He also got a chance to meet John and Lauraine Kelly, whose house was on fire.
