Like most people around the region today, I will be thinking about football most of the day.
The Eagles open the season tonight in prime time with a Monday night matchup in D.C. vs. RG3 and the Redskins.
And yet, I find myself not taking these games as the life-and-death affairs I once did.
Part of the reason for that is what we will mark two days from now.
How quickly we forget.
