I've been spending a lot of time recently thinking about Chester, the progress the city has made, the challenges that remain, and this newspaper's role in all of that.

This follows last week's 'Live From the Newsroom' show where I made good on what at least one local Chester blogger - our very own Stefan Roots - termed my 'threat' to come to the city of Chester.
By the way, the offer still stands.
I'm a big believer in Chester. I think it is moving forward.
And I'm committed to making sure this newspaper and website are part of that solution.
