They're taking the shutdown pretty seriously up at Valley Forge Park

Apparently they take this shutdown thing pretty seriously up at Valley Forge National Historical Park. Don't believe it? Just ask John Bell.

The 56-year-old marathoner from Chadds Ford says he got slapped with a $100 fine for running in the park.

Signs at most of the entrances to federal facilities clearly indicate they are closed.

That means no admittance. Period.

At Valley Forge, that means everything is closed, not just the buildings, but apparently the trails and grounds as well.

No walking. No running.

Bell said he plans to fight the ticket in federal court. I hope he wins.
