Remember Ummad Rushdi?
Upper Darby cops certainly do.
Rushdi is the York county man who police here believe killed his girlfriend's baby. But they have been unable to recover the body of tiny Hamza Ali.
Rushdi has been charged with kidnapping and murder regardless.
Rushdi, of Windsor Township, York County, is being held in Delaware County prison without bail.
Police allege that Rushdi killed Hazma Ali then buried the baby's body. Investigators have been unable to locate the baby's remains, despite an extensive multi-county search.
Rushdi is facing first-degree murder and related charges. The Delaware County District Attorney's office is considering the death penalty if Rushdi is convicted.
He is due in Upper Darby District Court today for a preliminary hearing.
