The Daily Numbers for Monday, Nov. 4 (Eagles-Raiders Edition)

The Daily Numbers: 7 touchdown passes thrown by Eagles QB Nick Foles, tying an NFL record.

6 other NFL QBs who have done it, with names like Peyton Manning, Y.A. Tittle and Sid Luckman, among others.

1 other Eagles QB to do it, that would be Adrian Burke.

6 incompletions on the day for Foles. He threw 1 more touchdown than he did incompletions.

22 of 48 for 406 yards, the gaudy numbers Foles compiled just 2 weeks after he spent the day missing open receivers vs. the Cowboys.

9 NFL starts for Foles.

49-20 final for the Eagles, with Foles and the starters taking off most of the 4th quarter. 3 rushes for 14 yards for Foles, who also proved adept in moving around the pocket. Just an eye-opening performance.

0 interceptions thrown this year by Foles.

13 TD passes.

5 catches for 139 yards and 3 TDs for wide receiver Riley Cooper.

5 catches for 150 yards and a TD for DeSean Jackson.

5 catches for rookie tight end Zach Ertz.

4-5 record for the Eagles, just 1 game behind the Cowboys, who rallied to win in the last minute yesterday over the Vikings.

5-2 record for Green Bay, who play tonight on Monday Night Football vs. the Bears. The Birds are in Green Bay next week.

1,102 yards combined offense yesterday for Eagles and Cowboys.

2 games, how long the Eagles went without an offensive touchdown before yesterday’s explosion.

92 plays for the Raiders yesterday, to just 57 for the Eagles. So much for the time of possession argument.

4 road wins for the Eagles this year.

0 wins at home at Lincoln Financial Field.

44 yards rushing on 12 carries for LeSean McCoy.

5 straight opponents that the Eagles defense have held to 21 points or less.

9-0 record with the Chiefs for former Eagles head coach Andy Reid.

Call me a Phanatic: A look at the ups and downs of being a Philadelphia sports fan

After that outing vs. the Cowboys, I wondered if Nick Foles could play in the NFL. I think he answered that question yesterday.

I Don’t Get It:
Which is the real Nick Foles, the guy who looked lost vs. the Cowboys, or the guy who looked like he was ready for Canton yesterday in Oakland.

Today’s Upper: Kudos to Nick Foles. Seven quarterbacks have thrown 7 TD passes in an NFL game. Peyton Manning is one of them. So is Nick Foles.

Quote Box: “I don’t think about the stats that go along with it.”
