Weren't the Sixers just 3-0 a minute ago?
Now they're 3-2.
Last night they fell to the Washington Wizards - one of the three teams they beat to open the season - and a barrage of three-pointers.
You can catch Chris Vito's take on the game here.
But don't write off the Sixers yet. At least not until after Friday night. That's because one of the highlights of what is likely going to be a long slog for the Sixers through the hinterlands of the NBA season will take place Friday night in South Philly.
We're talking about the return of Andrew Bynum.
The seven-footer never stepped on the court for the Sixers last year. Hell, he didn't even practice, if you don't count a few shoot-arounds.
And it struck a lot of people that Bynum did not seem especially enthusiastic about getting back on the court.
Asked about his return to Philly and that perception, Bynum yesterday gave a stock answer: He was hurt and that's all there is to it.
He's been getting limited minutes for the Cavs to far this year, and he's not playing successive nights.
Give him this much. He could have skipped the Friday night game and instead taken the floor the following night when the two teams finish off a home-and-home in the more friendly confines of Cleveland.
Instead, Bynum will walk onto the court at some point Friday night and almost assuredly be met by one of the classic Philly greetings.
Someone alert SportsCenter. It should be a Philly fan moment for the ages.
