Anyone else getting the feeling there is something "special" about this Eagles team?
Everything just keeps falling into place for them.
Last night the Cowboys got thumped by the Bears in front of a prime time Monday Night Football audience.
That means the Birds now stand alone in first place in the NFC East, a game up on Dallas with three games to play.
Of course, all of this will likely come to a head on the Sunday after Christmas when the Eagles go to Dallas for the regular season finale.
In the meantime, there are conflicting reports out of Minnesota as to whether All-Pro running back Adrian Peterson will be able to play Sunday when the Eagles go into the dome to play the Vikings.
Earlier this year the Birds got the Packers without QB Aaron Rodgers. By the way, the word is Rodgers could be in the lineup Sunday when the Packers meet the Cowboys.
Anyone else thinking karma?
Whatever it is, this Eagles team has it.
We could be witnessing something special.
