Some habits you don't lose so easily.
I took one glance at our Back Page today featuring our All-Delco Field Hockey Player of the Year and I just couldn't resist.
The honor goes to Moira Putsch of the Academy of Notre Dame. She is literally re-writing the county field hockey record books. You can read about all about her at our GameTimePa high school sports site here.
In other words, you might say:
"Putsch comes to shove in Delco field hockey."
No, only an addicted headline writer would do that.
Congratulations to you, Moira. Please excuse an old newsman from indulging in his favorite habit.
As you continue your stellar career at the University of Maryland, don't be surprised if you see that headline somewhere along the way. For news folks - at least us, how should I say it - seasoned - ones, old habits die hard.
