Don't panic.
I repeat, there is no need to panic.
It is going to snow again on Saturday. That makes Storm No. 3 - and we don't even officially hit winter until next Saturday.
It it will make you feel better, by all means hit the grocery store tonight and load up on junk food to get you through the weekend.
But I would not make it a priority. This does not look like a monster storm. The forecast right now calls for snow to move in around mid-day on Saturday. We're expecting to get a couple of hours of snow before it changes to rain later in the day. Yeah, I know, haven't we heard that before?
Right now it looks like Delco and most of the region will get 1-3 inches, with the amounts of course running higher the farther west and north you go. There might be up to 4 inches in northern Chester and Montgomery counties, and more up in Lehigh County and the Poconos.
In other words, it looks like it's going to be a mess.
It does not bode well for playing soccer at PPL Park, or football again at Lincoln Financial Field. The NCAA Division I men's soccer championships are in Chester, and of course the Linc will be packed for the annual Army-Navy gridiron classic.
It's enough to make you yearn for pitchers and catchers.
